a new year

after being so very far away for so long, it dawned on me this sunday that the wedding is in 4 1/2 months, which is not so very far away at all! which is good, because it was starting to feel like it would never get any closer. so we have ordered paper for our invitations, which we plan to do ourselves. we are probably being extremely over-ambitious, but i am very excited about them. i would describe them, but that would give it all away, which is no good. a lot of the details are still very up in the air, like, oh, ceremony music, wedding music, and celebrant, just to name a few. but, that's what the next few months are for doing, i suppose. me mum has started the making of my dress, which is so exciting. i am of the opinion that a wedding dress should really mean something. in the meantime, i'm dealing with the after-effects of a root canal, which is one of the worst things ever, and gearing up for the new semester - at least, i'm trying to!

for those of you who have not heard, we are planning to stay here for the next year, while ryan works on his dissertation. he owns the condo next door to where i am living now. it's pretty tiny, but plenty big enough for us, with wood floors, a fireplace, and a balcony. after that, it is any body's guess, although i am really hoping and praying for wyoming catholic college. that way i would get to play with ponies, our babies would have all kinds of room to run around, and we would get a view something like this, which is from their web site. but, who knows? all right, folks, that's all for now - next episode will hopefully be coming up shortly ... please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for 31 May.
